The 2005 passage of the MCPPA (the Permit to Carry law) requires that all instructors be certified by an Instructor Training firm certified by the DPS/BCA. ShootingSafely.com is so certified.

The cost of the certification class ranges from $100 to $175 as follows:

• $100 if the applicant is a current NRA Personal Protection Instructor, an AACFI certified instructor, or was MCPPA certified prior to the adoption of the 2005 Standards.
• $135 if the applicant lacks the Personal Protection endorsement, but has NRA Basic Pistol certification
• $175 all other applicants

There is no annual fee nor is there any per-student fee.  Once you have been certified by our firm, you conduct your own business without any financial obligation to ShootingSafely.com....and, yes, the certification is good throughout the State of Minnesota. Classes can be arranged to meet your schedule.
