Utah Permit to Carry Class

Note:  Unlike a driver's license which is good in all States, a Permit to Carry is limited to the State of issue unless there are reciprocity agreements between subject States or other individual State laws  that allow honoring an out-of-State permit.  The two most often honored out-of-State non-resident permits are from Florida and Utah, both honored "in about" 30 States.

The Utah Permit Class is all "classroom", not requiring a shooting proficiency qualification. The curriculum is similar to the NRA Basic Pistol Class. The only "hang up" is that it must be taught by a person certified as a Utah Instructor; I am so certified. There is a mandated curriculum that is followed, and a typical class takes 4-5 hours.

If you take the Minnesota or Nebraska classes from me, Utah is automatically included (meaning that we take the additional time to cover the Utah specific material).  I also do the Utah class at many other locations and will accept classes as small as one participant....just e-mail your interest and we will get a date for you.
