This is on the north shore of Pelican Lake, just east of Fair Hills Resort and across from Wildflower Golf Course. Driving distance is about 50 miles from Fargo/Moorhead; 10 miles from Detroit Lakes; 35 miles from Fergus Falls.
Directions...(Note, if you know how to get to Fair Hills Resort, then use your favorite route!)
From Fargo/Moorhead...If the weather is nice (i.e., not icy or snowy),...take I-94 east to the Downer exit. Turn left at the stop sign at the exit (east) and stay on this road until it ends. Turn to the right (south) and go through Cormorant Village and stay on this road until it ends. You now are at the northeast shore of Pelican Lake. Turn left (east) and go about 4+ miles just past the main entrance to Fair Hills. At the first right turn past the main entrance to Fair Hills you turn right into the lakeshore frontage road (Killarney Road). Stay to the right until 24408...large green two story. Depending on where you leave from the FM area, the total distance is about 50 miles.
If the weather is not nice (icy or snowy), you might want to stay on major roads. Take US Hiway 10 to Detroit Lakes. When in Detroit Lakes, turn right (south) onto US Hiway 59. Go about 10+ miles until the intersection of County Road 20; turn right on CR 20 (also called Pelican Lake Road) and go about 4 miles. You are now at the intersection of CR 20 and CR 22...just before Fair Hills. Turn left into Killarney Road, go to 24408. (If you are familiar with the area you can take CR22 off Hiway 59 and stay on it until you get to Pelican Lake; then just cross the road onto Killarney Road.
From Detroit Lakes...take US 59 to CR 22 and stay on CR 22 until Pelican Lake; cross the road onto Killarney Road.
From Fergus Falls...take US 59 North to CR20, also called Pelican Lake Road. Go left (west) about 4 miles to Killarney Road. If you get to Fair Hills, you went too far!
